Held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Purple Purse and Purple Tie Awards breakfast will pay tribute to the struggles and the courage of survivors and to the commitment and leadership of individuals who work alongside us, changing pain and fear into safety and hope and striving to end domestic violence. We will recognize community leaders who work has made a crucial and lasting difference in the lives of individuals, families, and children impacted by domestic violence. This year's awards will be given in memory of 3 local women who were dedicated and caring advocates of domestic violence. The event will take place on Thursday, October 3rd at 8:30 a.m. at the Mockingbird in East Bridgewater.
