South Shore Habitat for Humanity (http://sshabitat.org/), which has delivered quality housing in partnership with families in need for the past 33 years, is now accepting registrations and sponsorships for their 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Monday, October 7th, 2019 at the Marshfield Country Club. Proceeds from the golf tournament will provide funds for our home building program, including construction infrastructure and building materials. These funds will help to build safe, healthy affordable homes in partnership with families in need and provide greater stability for families and children. The proceeds will support projects in Duxbury, Easton and Hingham. The tournament begins at 11 a.m. with check-in, lunch and a driving range. A Shotgun Start is scheduled for 12 p.m. and a cocktail reception and silent auction is set for 4:30 p.m. Dinner and an awards ceremony begin at 5:30 p.m. This year’s tournament Chairmen are Peter G. Brown, President and CEO of Dedham Savings and Al Marchionne, President of Marchionne Insurance. Additional details and online registration are now available at www.sshabitat.org or by calling 781-337-7744 ext. 14. “The golf tournament offers many contests with spectator appeal and great prizes.
