Mass General Brigham Welcomes Dr. Elvis Aponte-Rivera, MD, Their New Primary Care Physician in Weymouth

Brigham and Women’s/Harbor Medical Associates, part of the Mass General Brigham organization, welcomes Elvis Aponte-Rivera, MD, as the newest full-time Primary Care Physician (Division of Internal Medicine). Dr. Aponte-Rivera joins our Brigham/Harbor Medical practice at the Stetson Building in South Weymouth.
After receiving his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico Dr. Aponte-Rivera completed his residency at Hospital Universitario Ramon Ruiz Arnau Bayamón, PR. Dr. Aponte-Rivera comes to us from a family practice in central Massachusetts where he served as an Internal Medicine Physician and Medical Director of the Clinical Laboratory. He is interested in preventative medicine, including life-style changes, diet, exercise, nutrition, and disease prevention. Dr. Aponte-Rivera is bilingual in English and Spanish.
